Deluxe Advent Taper Candle Set - Purple/Rose/White
Advent, meaning "the coming," encompasses the four-week season dedicated to preparing for Jesus' arrival on Christmas Day and the anticipation of His eventual return. This period commences on the Sunday closest to November 30 and extends until December 24, offering a time for prayer, waiting, and hope.During this sacred season, many observe the tradition of lighting candles on each of the four Sundays in Advent. Three candles are typically purple (or blue), symbolising prayer and loving service to prepare the way for Jesus. The candle for the third Sunday of Advent is rose-colored, representing the joy as the birth of Jesus approaches. On Christmas Eve, a white Christ candle is lit alongside the other four.Ideal for use at church or home, these taper candles are suitable for Advent wreaths or can be incorporated into personalized displays. Each deluxe set comprises 3 purple candles, 1 rose candle, and 1 white candle. Material: Wax. Size: 7/8" Dia x 12" H.

“Quality service”
The website was very easy to use, we selected the goods we wanted and they were delivered too us free of charge within a few days of placing the order. We purchased a number of Advent calendars for distribution at the local school, they were of good quality, good value for money and very informative regarding the origins of the advent calendar. We have been using the Christian Shop for purchases for the churches activities for a number of years and we have always been very happy with the goods and service provided.

“Good products”
The products are good and delivery was faster than expected. I particularly liked the nativity jigsaw puzzle which had a reasonable number of pieces for either a grown up or a young person, not too overwhelming as even 500 piece jigsaws can be!
